Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team. This role involves hands-on maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics of agricultural machinery, trucks, and vehicles. The successful candidate will also support calibration, testing, and compliance tasks to ensure the ongoing performance and safety of mechanical systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on agricultural machinery, trucks, and vehicles.
• Place and manage purchase orders for parts and equipment as required.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated when needed and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct mechanical testing and analysis to evaluate system functionality and performance.
• Perform various tests and experiments to assess reliability and safety; record and analyse data to identify improvements and recommend solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot mechanical issues across equipment and systems.
• Assist in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of mechanical components.
• Comply with all safety protocols, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all mechanical activities.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, or a suitable qualification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of agricultural systems and machinery.
• Valid driver's licence required.
