HEALTH PROMOTION OFFICER POSITION SUMMARY
Design and deliver health programs that improve community wellbeing, increase awareness of health risks, and support access to servicesespecially for multicultural and vulnerable groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate health promotion initiatives.
  • Develop culturally relevant resources and education workshops.
  • Build community partnerships and integrate health promotion into aged/disability services.
  • Monitor outcomes and prepare reports to guide future programs.

Requirements & Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health or related field.
  • Experience in health education/community initiatives.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to engage diverse communities.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
  • Police Clearance, WWCC, WA drivers licence.
  • Second language (Bengali/Hindi) desirable.

AGED & DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER/CARER POSITION SUMMARY
Provide practical care, emotional support and assistance to older people and people with disability, enabling them to live safely and independently at home and in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal care, meal preparation and household support.
  • Transport to appointments and community activities.
  • Companionship, social inclusion and wellbeing support.
  • Monitor changes in client condition and report as needed.

Requirements & Skills

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged/Disability) or 12+ months relevant experience.
  • Ability to deliver person-centred, culturally responsive care.
  • Empathy, patience and ability to build trust with clients.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Police Clearance, WWCC, First Aid; drivers licence desirable.
  • Language skills in Spanish, Sinhalese, Bengali or Hindi an advantage.

Salary: $76,600 $86,600 p.a.
