They are seeking a poultry professional with five or more years of experience to join their dynamic team in the newly created position of Technical Service Specialist, based in Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Technical Service Specialist - SEA, you will be based in Southeast Asia and report to the Global Technical Director.
The primary focus of your role will be to provide technical support to existing customers in Southeast Asia to help them maximize their profit potential. You will:
- Implement and maintain global technical guidelines and programs in Southeast Asia and the assigned areas.
- Work closely with the international sales team and technical team to provide support in the areas of veterinary health, farm management and nutrition.
- Accompany the global technical manager or technical team on visits to the assigned areas to learn about service provision and customer challenges in different environments and situations.
- Assisting and speaking at technical seminars and trade shows.
- Prepare monthly technical reports and reports on customer visits.
- Assist in translation and review of translated technical literature to support local industry.
- Develop good relationships with customers, key opinion leader, universities and associations.
- Gather local market intelligence.
- Travel at least 50% of the time to perform technical services at customers' sites.
Skills & Experience
- Southeast Asian only.
- 10 years of experience in poultry health and/or management in Southeast Asia.
- Bachelors Degree, or higher, in Veterinary Medicine or Animal Husbandry.
- Be self-motivated, a team player and a proactive problem solver.
- Be competent in managing multiple tasks and projects.
- Have good English communication skills.
- Be willing to travel and work independently.
