Responsibilities:

  1. Staff Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, ensuring compliance with local hiring regulations.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
    • Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient clinic operations.
  2. Patient Care:

    • Oversee the delivery of quality patient care services in accordance with JAWDA and TASNEEF standards.
    • Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a culturally sensitive and professional manner.
    • Monitor patient satisfaction levels and implement strategies to improve patient experience.
  3. Administrative Duties:

    • Manage clinic finances in compliance with UAE regulations, including budgeting, billing, and revenue collection.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with local data protection laws.
    • Coordinate with insurance providers to process claims and verify coverage for patients.
  4. Facility Management:

    • Ensure that the clinic premises meet JAWDA and TASNEEF standards for safety, cleanliness, and accessibility.
    • Manage inventory levels for medical supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with local import regulations.
    • Arrange for repairs and maintenance as needed, adhering to local building codes and regulations.
  5. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated on relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards in Abu Dhabi.
    • Ensure that the clinic operates in compliance with local regulations, including licensing requirements and health and safety standards.
    • Implement policies and procedures to safeguard patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with UAE laws.
  6. Quality Improvement:

    • Monitor clinic performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, aligning with JAWDA and TASNEEF guidelines.
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinic operations.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among clinic staff.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans, respecting cultural sensitivities.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and local health authorities, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Prior experience in healthcare management or administration in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a strong understanding of local regulations and standards, including JAWDA and TASNEEF.
  • Experience in audit processes related to healthcare facilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate cultural diversity and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records systems.
  • Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations, including HAAD (Health Authority Abu Dhabi) regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
