FACNAV Full Stack .NET Developer

Teleplan Globe AS was established in 1959 and has operated under the same private ownership through more than five decades. Today the group consists of several companies. Teleplan Globe AS is the software company in this group. With a staff of approximately 100, including more than 80 software engineers, they design, develop, and deliver software and system solutions to customers in the international market. Teleplan Globe AS provides innovative solutions primarily to the defence, telecom and law enforcement sectors.

Sky Group AS is currently recruiting for Full Stack .NET Developers to join the Teleplan Globe's FACNAV department. The main purpose of this role will be to develop the modern Battlefield Management System (BMS) used by the armed forces.

| Location: Hybrid Remote, Lysaker| 

Role and technical responsibility:

• Developer for military command & control solutions 
• Ability to work with product specialists and architects to turn customer requirements into finished solutions
• Ability to develop and take responsibility for specific domains and cooperate with other domain experts to jointly produce the best solution for both the customer and product
• Ability to collaborate with UX designer and Front-End specialists to deliver products with unified interaction- and visual design
• There will always be some degree of specialisation for different roles within over time within the team, so there is great opportunity for an in-depth look at topics you find particularly interesting

Education:

• University/College Degree or equivalent
• Fluent written and spoken Norwegian and English

Experience and domain knowledge:

• Experience from large and complex development projects is a big plus
• Either customer oriented or more purely technical orientated developer experience is of interest
• Experience from operative solutions for defence and/or emergency services is a big plus
• Personal experience and interest in development, and examples of this via e.g. GitHub, is a big plus

Technologies:

• .NET background is a requirement
• Experience with source code version control systems such as Git and TFS, as well as DevOps building blocks, is a big plus

Personal qualities:

• Works structured and has the desire to be a part of a team
• Can take responsibility for (partial) deliveries and have ownership for delivered projects to be of high quality
• Good at cooperating but can also work independently
