Dietitian/Senior Dietitian
We are seeking a passionate Dietitian/Senior Dietitian to join our Dietetics team. In this role, you will play a vital part to promote the health and well-being of our elders by improving the dietary habits and to manage various medical conditions of our clients in the community and across all our service settings, in a transformative and sustainable way. You will take ownership of advancing nutritional care, supporting quality food services, and contributing to health promotion initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy by assessing clients, creating tailored treatment plans, coordinating with care teams, and conducting follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate patient records, statistics, and documentation in line with standards and protocols.
- Plan, review, and implement therapeutic diets, menu development, and food service management, including liaising with caterers and monitoring food quality.
- Deliver nutrition education, training, and health promotion programmes for clients, caregivers, staff, and the community.
- Participate in the Dining Culture Programme and contribute to staff training on food hygiene and preparation.
- Engage in nutrition-related research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide consultancy and advisory services to care facilities, including menu reviews, endorsements, and compliance with nutritional guidelines.
- Support departmental operations, budget planning, policy development, and represent the department in meetings or conferences when required.
Requirements
- Degree in Dietetics or Degree in Nutrition with Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics recognized by the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA).
- Relevant clinical experience in healthcare settings with Dietetic services advantageous.
- For senior dietitian: minimum 4 years of relevant clinical experience in healthcare settings with Dietetic services (with 1-year supervisory capacity preferred).
- Registered dietitian at the Singapore Nutrition & Dietetics Association (SNDA) or any recognized Dietitians Association is advantageous.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Good analytical, presentation, and public speaking skills.
