About the job Care Partner
We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Care Partner to join our Nursing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting elders to live meaningful and dignified lives by encouraging their participation in daily activities and providing personal care when needed. You will focus on delivering compassionate care, empowering residents independence, and assisting healthcare professionals in ensuring quality standards are met. You will take ownership of direct care duties such as personal hygiene, mobility support, meal assistance, and accurate documentation, while also contributing to social and emotional wellbeing through interactive activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and compassionate care to elders
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Assist residents with transfers, mobility, and use of walking aids
- Support residents emotional wellbeing through interactive activities
- Record accurate documentation on residents vital signs, urine tests, bowel movement, and nutrition
- Perform nursing procedures such as naso-gastric feeding
- Assist doctors and nurses during examinations and treatments, ensuring privacy and dignity
- Maintain proper documentation, care records, and handling of consumables
Requirements
- WSQ Certificate in Healthcare (Nursing Care), HMI, or equivalent qualification
- Experience in nursing homes or hospitals
- Competence in English; ability to converse in Mandarin or dialects is an advantage
- Willing to work rotating shifts
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills with ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
