About the job Staff Nurse

We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Staff Nurse to join our Nursing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care by assessing, planning, and implementing clinical interventions while supporting elders wellbeing and dignity. You will focus on direct nursing care, clinical decision-making, and coordination with healthcare teams and families. You will take ownership of medication management, clinical documentation, patient education, and guiding junior staff, while contributing to continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned elders, perform nursing procedures and treatments, administer medications safely, and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Lead and coordinate admission, transfer, discharge, and family conference processes, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with physicians, healthcare teams, and caregivers
  • Recognize and address potential risks, implement fall and pressure injury prevention measures, adhere to infection control practices, and follow escalation and incident reporting protocols
  • Provide education to elders and families on care, treatment, and preventive practices, and communicate effectively to support understanding and informed decision-making
  • Record elders progress, treatments, interventions, and clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner to ensure compliance with care and audit standards
  • Use equipment and consumables appropriately, monitor inventory, ensure proper charging of services, and contribute to optimal bed utilization within the household
  • Apply evidence-based practice, participate in quality audits and improvement projects, and support organizational initiatives to enhance service delivery and resident outcomes
  • Pursue ongoing education to maintain competencies, provide guidance to junior staff and students, and contribute to a supportive learning and work environment

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing and registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
  • 2 years of relevant nursing experience
  • Willing to work rotating shifts
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
