Therapy Support Associate (Bukit Panjang)

We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Therapy Support Associate to join our Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting therapists with clinical treatments, equipment upkeep, and departmental operations, while ensuring high standards of care and service delivery. You will take ownership of assisting clients in their rehabilitation journey and contributing to the smooth running of the therapy department.

Responsibilities

  • Support therapists in implementing prescribed exercise programmes, group therapy, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and therapists to provide professional care and feedback.
  • Ensure service coverage in assigned wards or outpatient units and assist multiple patients when required.
  • Maintain and manage therapy equipment, including upkeep, repairs, and reporting of damages or loss.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all therapy areas to provide a safe and supportive environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as billing, inventory management, statistics, filing, and replenishment of forms and handouts.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, feedback on processes, and contribute to operational improvements.
  • Engage in training, supervision, and mentoring programmes to continuously upgrade skills and support the development of new assistants.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.
  • Preferably with relevant working experience in therapy support or rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Organised, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willing to learn and participate in ongoing education and development programmes.
