ASSISTANT CENTRE MANAGER / CENTRE MANAGER
We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Centre Manager to join our Centre-Based Services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operations and high-quality care delivery for our Daycare and Rehab clients by leading a multidisciplinary team, implementing therapeutic programmes, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. You will take ownership of centre operations, staff supervision, risk management, stakeholder engagement, financial sustainability, and audit readiness, while driving innovation and continuous improvement across the centre.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the welfare and safety of Daycare and Rehab clients within the centre, in compliance with SOPs and MOH service requirements.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative and therapeutic activities aligned with the GRACE model, engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise and conduct multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs) to ensure holistic care planning and coordination for clients.
- Promote inclusive care by involving community dwellers and increasing centre visibility through engagement with community partners.
- Conduct risk management assessments, analyse incidents, and implement solutions to ensure safe care environments.
- Provide operational leadership and supervision for centre staff, fostering a learning and quality improvement culture through training and development.
- Oversee financial sustainability by managing resources prudently, achieving target utilisation rates, and ensuring accurate subvention reporting.
- Ensure centre readiness for audits and maintain facilities, equipment, and transport fleet in good working condition through timely servicing and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Prior caregiving experience in hospitals, nursing homes, or home settings is advantageous.
- Patient and willing to serve elderly clients; bilingual in Mandarin is preferred due to the work environment.
- Strong team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and manage tasks under time constraints.
- IT and digitally savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital tools used in care environments.
