We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Assistant Community Engagement Manager / Community Engagement Manager to join our Community-based Services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing AAC services within a region by leading engagement programmes, membership and volunteer management, and driving integrated community care and service alignment efforts.

Responsibilities

· Provide regional leadership and strategic oversight for AAC services, ensuring alignment with organisational vision and standards.

· Develop and implement regional strategies to enhance engagement programmes and services, addressing the holistic needs of elders and caregivers.

· Co-lead integrated community care initiatives within the region and drive the achievement of Integrated Community Care Provider (ICCP) deliverables, ensuring effective collaboration with partners.

· Drive alignment of Programmes, Partnerships & Pathways across SCC/AAC within the region, in line with SCC/AAC integration goals.

· Oversee regional membership management, ensuring effective publicity, data accuracy, and growth and retention of members.

· Grow and develop the regional volunteer pool, with a particular focus on recruiting and engaging senior volunteers.

· Establish and strengthen collaborations with community partners to expand resources and enhance service offerings for seniors in the region.

· Ensure robust regional administration and operational excellence across all AACs in the region, including reporting, audit readiness, and staff development, and maintaining maintenance of safety and hygiene.

Requirements

· Minimum degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., social work, gerontology, healthcare, or related fields).

· At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an AAC or similar community-based setting, and/or previous volunteering with seniors.

· Proven track record of leadership in managing teams and driving regional or organisational initiatives.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies for community engagement, programme delivery, and service improvement.

· Strong experience in building and sustaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including community partners and service providers.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills, with a commitment to holistic, person-centred care.
