Therapy Aide/Senior Therapy Aide

We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Therapy Aide/Senior Therapy Aide to join our Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing support to Therapists by supporting department administration and operations as well as participate in continuing education to further your knowledge in the areas of occupation therapy and physiotherapy. You will take ownership of delivering safe, effective, and compassionate support to enhance client care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist therapists in implementing individual and group therapy programs, including monitoring and recording client progress and vital signs.
  • Provide timely feedback to therapists on client responses and progress.
  • Support departmental administration, including maintaining client files, attendance tracking, and follow-up calls for non-attendance.
  • Ensure therapy equipment is maintained, inventoried, and reported for repair or replacement as needed.
  • Uphold SLECs standards of clinical practice, legal and ethical frameworks, infection control, and WSH procedures.
  • Assist in providing a safe, supportive, and hygienic environment for clients.
  • Participate in in-service training, continuing education, and community activities as assigned.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency in the therapy department.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Healthcare Management and promotion or any other similar discipline.
  • Certificate in Therapy Services (HMI or CSM Institutes)
  • WSQ Certification in Therapy Support.
  • Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and under time constraints.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
