Country Head

Our client, a leading distributor and finance company for automobiles and related products based in Dubai, is expanding its operations to Sri Lanka and is establishing a branch in Colombo. This opportunity is for the Sri Lanka branch.

Responsibilities

• Own country-level P&L, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow

• Lead nationwide sales strategy to achieve volume, market share, and revenue targets.

• Appoint, manage, and expand dealer network (sales, service, spares).

• Ensure strong after-sales service, warranty control, and customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate with OEM on product planning, imports, forecasting, and allocation.

• Ensure compliance with automotive, import/export, tax, and labor regulations.

• Drive brand positioning, pricing, promotions, and competitive strategy.

• Lead senior management team, governance, and business risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering / Business / Management (MBA preferred).

• Minimum 15+ years experience in automotive / three-wheeler / commercial vehicle industry.

• Minimum 5 years in Country Head / Business Head / senior leadership role.

• Strong experience in dealer-led distribution and network expansion.

• Proven P&L ownership with strong financial and commercial acumen.

• In-depth knowledge of Sri Lankan automotive market and regulations.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strategic, execution-focused, and results-driven mindset.
