About the job Accounts Staff

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily AR operations, including tracking receivables and processing incoming payments (cheques, cash, and e-payments).
  • Perform regular account reconciliations and monitor customer accounts for delayed or missed payments.
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and long-overdue payments via email communication with customers.
  • Liaise closely with internal teams (sales, sales support, and accounts teams) in Singapore to resolve AR issues.
  • Maintain and update customer files and records in the system daily.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of all AR transactions and updates to cash flow records.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor records and address inquiries.
  • Support preparation of balance sheet and profit & loss schedules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A professional qualification (such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICASL Foundation or Intermediate Level) would be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting systems preferably Microsoft 365 Suite, & Sage 300 ERP (AccPac).
  • Proactive in communicating with international teams and customers
  • Coordinate closely with internal Sales and Sales Support teams on overdue accounts, billing issues, and customer commitments
  • Fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on responsiveness in data handling and stakeholder communication.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good command of spoken and written English, is a must.
