Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store all incoming materials, ensuring proper labeling and storage conditions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels in the inventory system
  • Organize and manage the storage area to optimize space and ensure easy access to materials
  • Conduct regular stock checks and ensure the accuracy of inventory through physical audits
  • Issue materials to the production team as per their requirements and ensure proper documentation
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management when replenishment is required
  • Ensure the proper rotation of stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method to reduce wastage
  • Pack and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all products are properly labeled and documented
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment that complies with safety regulations
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory to the management team for resolution

Requirements 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software
  • Strong ability to monitor and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Capable of organizing and managing materials effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and handle materials as required
  • Ability to resolve stock discrepancies and other inventory-related issues
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to storage and material handling
