Warehouse Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming medical equipment and supplies for quality and accuracy, documenting any discrepancies
• Properly store medical equipment in designated storage areas, ensuring the preservation of sensitive products
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory audits to ensure accuracy
• Coordinate with internal teams, including purchasing and logistics, to ensure timely and efficient operations
• Help manage documentation and labeling of shipments, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for medical devices
• Support with the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and tools

Job Requirements 

• Prefer to have qualification of Material Management
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or supply chain environment, preferably in the medical equipment or healthcare industry
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer software
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures and safety guidelines
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Located around Kelaniya is a must
