Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the QA Manager in overseeing and ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001), local health regulations, and industry standards
  • Supervise and participate in routine product testing (e.g., sensory evaluation, microbiological analysis, and physical testing) to ensure product consistency and quality
  • Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and walk-throughs to identify and resolve any issues related to quality, hygiene, or food safety
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Production, Manufacturing, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field is required
  • Applicants must have at least 04 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, including a minimum of 2 years in coconut manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000, IFS, BRC, and Organic Certification is mandatory
  • Having a certificate in Production and Inventory Management or Operations Management is also beneficial
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Sinhala, along with a positive attitude, are essential
