Responsibilities 

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with professionalism.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up reminders.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Handle inquiries in person, via phone, and email.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and admin teams for smooth operations.
  • Monitor stock levels for reception supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception area.
  • Manage courier and mail dispatch.
  • Assist in billing and payment processing when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil.
  • Good computer literacy, especially in MS Office and email handling.
  • Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations.
  • Preferred: Female candidates.
  • Availability to work half-day on Saturdays.
