Application Engineer - Heating & Cooling

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers to promote and increase sales of boilers, chillers, thermic fluid heaters, and other heating & cooling equipment.

• Prepare and present accurate techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and reports.

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful order finalization and project handover.

• Collaborate with principals and associates to develop sales strategies and annual business plans.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.

• Monitor team performance, identify skill gaps, and support training and development initiative

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales (boilers, chillers, compressors, DG sets, etc.) in Sri Lanka or overseas.

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Thermodynamics, or Environmental Engineering.

• Strong market knowledge and network within industrial and engineering sectors.

• Proven skills in lead generation, order closure, and strategic sales planning.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; fluency in local languages preferred.

• Willingness to travel extensively island-wide for business development.
