Application Engineer - Steam Accessories & Spares

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide technical support for Steam Traps, PRV/PRS systems, and Condensate Recovery Systems.
• Conduct on-site steam audits, identify system inefficiencies, and recommend improvements for energy conservation.
• Prepare detailed technical and performance reports on steam distribution systems.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver customized engineering solutions that optimize system performance.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support strategic sales decisions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, ensuring clear communication of product benefits and system advantages.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering / NDT / NDES / HNDE / City & Guilds (Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and marketing of steam systems or related industrial equipment.
• Sound knowledge in Application Engineering, Steam Traps, PRV/PRS, and Condensate Recovery Systems.
• Understanding of Steam Distribution Systems and Energy Conservation Reporting.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fast learner with good analytical ability and awareness of market competition.
