Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical testing and analysis related to water treatment, boilers, cooling towers, and process systems.
• Monitor and maintain chemical dosing, treatment levels, and system performance for industrial machinery and steam equipment.
• Support engineering teams by providing chemical insights for troubleshooting process machines, pumps, and steam accessories.
• Maintain accurate lab records, prepare test reports, and ensure all chemical documentation is updated.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals according to occupational and environmental standards.
• Recommend improvements in chemical processes to enhance equipment efficiency, safety, and operational reliability.

Requirements

• Age 35 years or below.
• B.Sc Chemistry, Degree in Chemical & Process Engineering, or NDT/Diploma in Chemistry.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a relevant industrial or engineering environment.
• Exposure to processing machinery, water treatment, and steam-related systems.
• Fluency in Sinhala and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with maintenance and engineering teams.
