Finance Executive

Industry: Production & Export

Our client, a leading production and export company in Colombo, is looking for a skilled Finance Executive to manage financial operations efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards

• Handle petty cash, journal entries, invoices, payments, receipts, and reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring proper filing and internal controls

• Provide timely financial insights and reports to management

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in export sectors

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST/VAT, and Sri Lankan tax regulations

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of ERP/accounting software is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala 

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity
