Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and petty cash.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and cashflow tracking.
  • Support statutory compliance documentation (VAT, SVAT, PAYE/APIT, EPF/ETF).
  • Provide reports and updates to senior finance staff as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team.
  • Strong communication skills in English; ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work on Saturdays (half-day).
