One of their business units is at the forefront of innovation, supporting leading semiconductor manufacturers with critical solutions in power, automation, safety, and operational efficiency. With primary production facilities based in North America, the company has expanded into Asia by establishing its first manufacturing site in Thailand. Currently, they are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for the new plant and ensure adherence to quality standards.


The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and testing of electrical systems for a new assembly plant, coordinating with global teams and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role also supports the transition from prototype to full-scale production, meeting both technical and regulatory requirements. The overall duties and responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

  • Lead the design, review, and implementation of electrical systems for automation, mechanical, and electronic applications.
  • Oversee panel design, layout, and system integration using software such as Inventor or SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors to address technical challenges, obsolescence, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide engineering support during prototype builds and manage the transition to full-scale production.
  • Evaluate tooling and equipment needs for production and first-article assemblies.
  • Support non-conformance analysis, root cause investigation, and resolution of design or process-related issues.
  • Coordinate responses to supplier surveys, customer audits, and technical queries.
  • Facilitate post-sales technical support and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in training sessions, maintain accurate system documentation, and contribute to internal process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Preferably masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, automation, or electronic design and application.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Experience with panel design, system visualization, and technical documentation review.
  • Experience in transitioning products from prototype to production in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in design tools (Inventor, SolidWorks), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Understanding of NRTL standards (e.g., UL) and experience with regulatory compliance processes.
