Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is a global leader in supply chain solutions, electrical and industrial distribution, and advanced logistics. With over 100 years of expertise and a network spanning more than 50 countries, our client empowers businesses around the world with essential products and services. One of their business units is at the forefront of innovation, supporting leading semiconductor manufacturers with critical solutions in power, automation, safety, and operational efficiency. With primary production facilities based in North America, the company has expanded into Asia by establishing its first manufacturing site in Thailand. Currently, they are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to manage the quality of the production.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will be responsible for conducting inspections and establishing quality testing models to evaluate raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. This role will work closely with Operations to ensure that all customer requirements, product specifications, and process improvement initiatives are met. Additionally, The QA Engineer will oversee customer and regulatory audits, determine key metrics for measuring product quality (KPIs), and compile and deliver quality performance reports to stakeholders. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to customer and product specifications by monitoring and addressing compliance issues.
• Create procedures to resolve common material and product quality concerns.
• Design and organize tests for materials, products, and systems.
• Evaluate test results to ensure they meet quality assurance standards.
• Recommend, develop, and implement solutions to address quality issues in materials and products.
• Prepare and deliver reports on the quality of materials, products, and systems to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a related field such as Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Have at least 3-5 years experience in Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Familiar with Quality Assurance software/tools and able to use various range of testing techniques.
• Strong background and Knowledge of engineering test methodology, tools, systems and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written command in English and Thai language skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Independent and driven, with the ability to lead discussions with suppliers.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Having a car and valid driving license for visiting suppliers in Thailand is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally is essential.
