Our client is a global leader in supply chain solutions, electrical and industrial distribution, and advanced logistics. One of their business units is at the forefront of innovation, supporting leading semiconductor manufacturers with critical solutions in power, automation, safety, and operational efficiency. With primary production facilities based in North America, the company has expanded into Asia by establishing its first manufacturing site in Thailand. Currently, they are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and manage the greenfield operations set up.


The Project Manager will be responsible in for setting up a new assembly operation in Thailand, overseeing the production process, purchasing, and planning, ensuring operational compliance and quality control, as well as providing customer support services and managing warehouse. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Oversee customer service, vendor relationships, purchasing, and warehousing, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Discuss program performance with customers, identify areas for improvements, and explore opportunities for expanded services.
  • Handle HR tasks, including recruitment activities and manpower management.
  • Track program effectiveness and preparing monthly reports, detailing performance, costs, service quality, and improvements.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and recommend new agreements.
  • Advise and train staff on various methods, processes, and procedures.
  • Discuss KPIs such as inventory turns, cost savings, and deliveries with the site, identifying areas for improvements or cost reductions.
  • Monitor account receivables and take necessary action.
  • Implement and review quality systems, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure their effectiveness.
  • Respond to audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate information sharing between vendors and customers, including new product launches, value-added initiatives, and cost saving efforts.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree level or higher in a field including Electrical Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a demonstrable equivalent experience and exceptional ability.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or manufacturing, preferably within a semiconductor or electrical manufacturer or a related field.
  • Prior experience in an operational or customer-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills,
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality management systems (ISO/TS/UL certification knowledge).
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and vendor negotiation.
  • Capable of analyzing complex data and developing solutions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Independent and driven, with the ability to lead discussions and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with various stakeholders at different levels.
  • Flexibility for both domestic and international travels.
