Smart Suites manages 100+ Airbnb-style suites across Brisbanes southern suburbs. We pride ourselves on clean, safe, guest-ready properties and were looking for a reliable, hands-on person to help us keep them that way.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Logistics and Groundskeeping Coordinator to help keep our properties clean, tidy, and guest-ready. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, values consistency, and is comfortable working independently across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Linen Operations (Core Focus):

• Coordinate linen deliveries and collections across multiple properties
• Ensure timely restocking of clean linen and removal of used items
• Transport and manage supplies and inventory (toiletries, cleaning items, small equipment)
• Plan and execute efficient daily routes

Groundskeeping & Outdoor Maintenance:

• Lawn mowing, trimming, weed control, and general garden upkeep
• Maintain clean, tidy, and presentable outdoor/common areas
• Support seasonal or ad-hoc outdoor tasks as needed

Property Maintenance:

• Perform minor, non-technical repairs (light bulbs, fixtures, small fixes)
• Assist with furniture moving, setup, and assembly
• Conduct general checks to ensure properties are guest-ready

Operational Support:

• Manage bin placement, return, and basic cleaning
• Report completed tasks and issues via internal systems
• Identify and escalate maintenance or operational concerns

What You Need

• 2–3+ years' experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, logistics, or similar hands-on roles
• Comfortable managing deliveries, schedules, and multiple locations daily
• Own transport & driver's license (preferred but not required; company vehicle may be provided depending on workload)
• Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor and active work
• Basic repair and lawn care skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a clear communicator
• ABN preferred (support available)
• Must obtain ABN within 30 days of commencement if not already held
• Willing to undergo background check (police check required)
• Valid Australian work authorization required
