The Role
As our Property Services and Cleaning Associate, you'll play a key role in keeping our properties safe, functional, clean, and guest-ready at all times.
You'll be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair tasks, supporting recurring exterior and common-area upkeep, and assisting with selected cleaning operations across our portfolio. This includes working closely with vendors, cleaners, contractors, logistics, and internal operations teams to ensure tasks are completed on time, to standard, and with accurate documentation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintenance Coordination: Oversee repair and maintenance jobs, including guest-caused damage and general wear-and-tear issues
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with vendors, handymen, cleaners, suppliers, and third-party property managers to ensure timely completion of work
- Purchase Order Processing: Create and manage purchase orders for repairs, replacements, and cleaning-related services
- Property Upkeep Scheduling: Coordinate recurring services such as lawn mowing, bin movement schedules, and common area cleaning
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate job records, updates, timelines, and completion statuses across all tasks
- Cleaning Operations Support: Help organize cleaning inspections, confirm schedules, monitor service quality, and support escalations when needed
- Virtual Quality Checks: Conduct virtual inspections to verify work quality and confirm standards are met
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with logistics, operations, vendors, and service providers to keep properties running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in property coordination, maintenance scheduling, cleaning operations, or similar operational support roles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working with vendors, cleaners, contractors, and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to timely, accurate work
- Comfortable using digital tools and task-tracking systems such as Zoho, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Tech-savvy, dependable, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues
- Able to work with urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy
Engagement Details
- Type: Independent contractor (PH offshore)
- Compensation: AUD 1,500 – 1,700/month
- Schedule: Full-time, AU shift, Flexible within business operating hours of 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM PH time
- Time Tracking: All contractors use Hubstaff for time and productivity tracking to ensure accuracy and transparency in work.
Selection Process
- Initial Interview (30 to 45 minutes): An initial conversation to learn about your background, experience, and professional goals. You'll also have the chance to ask questions about the engagement and the client.
- Technical Live Assessment (60 to 90 minutes): This stage evaluates your practical capabilities in sales outreach, lead qualification, and virtual negotiations, using real-world scenarios relevant to the scope of services.
- Behavioral Interview (60 minutes): Focuses on your communication style, cultural alignment, and how you build trust and relationships in a remote business environment.
- Pre-Engagement Steps (10 - 15 minutes)
- IT Audit: To ensure compliance with technology standards and security protocols.
- Reference Check: We will contact your provided professional references to verify your history and capabilities.
- Meet the Founder (30 to 60 minutes): A welcoming conversation where you'll connect directly with the company's founder. This is your chance to discuss engagement terms, share your own goals, and ask any final questions.
