Registered Manager – Children's Home
Location: Tewkesbury
Were looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children's home, providing high-quality care and support to young people. This is a senior role overseeing day-to-day operations, staff management, safeguarding, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding care and support to children/young people, promoting their well-being, education, and development.

Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, behaviour management, and therapeutic plans.

Lead, manage, and develop the residential care team, including training, supervision, appraisals, and rota management.

Manage the homes operations, including budgets, resources, health & safety, and the physical environment.

Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Ofsted requirements, and company policies.

Maintain professional relationships with external agencies, families, and partner organisations.

Participate in on-call duties and flexible working as required.
Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

Proven experience in residential childcare and management of a children's home.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and therapeutic approaches.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
