Introduction to the Role

We are looking for an FCC Operator to join our Telecom team. In this role, you will provide technical and engineering support for onshore and offshore telecom operations, work with BP internal systems, and prepare technical documentation required for telecommunications projects.

What you'll do?

  • Provide technical support for onshore and offshore telecom technicians.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities related to telecom services.
  • Prepare BP documentation (eMoC, Workpacks, Scope of Work, As-built Drawings, etc.).
  • Work with BP internal systems and applications.
  • Read, interpret and update engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot telecom equipment and support field engineers.
  • Communicate with the client's technical representatives.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Must have

Hard skills

  • 1–2+ years of experience in Telecom or IT/Telecom.
  • Experience supporting telecom infrastructure and equipment.
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 and PDF editing tools.
  • Experience with BP environment or similar enterprise systems is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to read and work with technical drawings (GAS, BLD, ETD, SCH, SCI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of telecom technologies such as:
    • Fiber Optic
    • UHF/VHF Radio
    • Telephone Exchange
    • CCTV
    • LAN/WAN
    • Data Communication
    • Public Address Systems
  • Experience preparing As-built drawings and technical documentation.
  • English – conversational level or higher.
  • Russian – confident working proficiency.
