About the job QA Intern

This is a learning role, so we will teach and guide you. Under the supervision of a mentor, you will learn to:

  • Work with Requirements:
    • Read and analyze simple product requirements.
    • Ask clarifying questions to identify gaps and ambiguities.
  • Design and Execute Tests:
    • Write simple test cases using a template and apply basic test design techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, desicion table).
    • Perform manual acceptance testing for new features and bug fixes.
    • Participate in regression testing before releases.
  • Find and Report Defects:
    • Identify bugs and create clear, well-documented bug reports in Jira (with clear steps to reproduce, actual vs. expected results).
    • Isolate defects to help the team resolve them faster.
  • Work with Professional Tools:
    • Maintain test documentation in a TMS (Qase).
    • Manage tasks and bugs in Jira.
    • Execute simple API requests using Postman and analyze the responses.
  • Be Part of an Agile Team:
    • Participate in team ceremonies: daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives.
    • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other team members.
    • Provide timely updates on your progress and any blocking issues.

Who We're Looking For (Our Requirements)

We are primarily looking for potential and motivation, not years of experience. If you are curious, eager to grow in the QA field, and ready to learn, we would love to talk to you.

Must-Haves:

  • A certificate of completion from a software testing course.
  • A solid theoretical foundation in testing: you understand requirements analysis, test case creation, and basic test design techniques.
  • You know how to use browser DevTools to analyze network requests and inspect the UI.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the Quality Assurance field.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • A team player with a positive attitude: you're open, communicative, and not afraid to ask questions.
  • You take responsibility for your tasks and know when to ask for help.
  • Intermediate or higher level of English (for reading documentation and team communication).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • A basic understanding of APIs (e.g., what HTTP requests/responses and JSON are).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum principles.
