Purpose.

Data engineer work in a variety of settings to build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for data scientists and business analysts to interpret. The goal is to make data accessible so that business can use it to evaluate and optimize performance. This role will involve working with large datasets and ensuring the efficient flow and analysis of data.

Data engineer Requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in data engineering, big data analytics, computer engineering, information technology or related field. Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
• 2+ years of proven experience as an ETL developer, a data engineer or similar.
• Strong programming skills (preferably Python).
• Experience in Data Warehouse development and implementation.
• Data integration skills (APIs, file systems etc.).
• Familiarity with data pipelines (such as Apache Kafka).
• Ability to analyze a company's big-picture data needs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
• Clear communication skills.
• Proficient command of Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.
• Capacity to successfully manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision.
• A knack for independence and group work.

Data engineer Responsibilities.

• Participate in planning, developing and implementation of Data Warehouse solution for BI and Analytics.
• Integrate various external and internal data sources.
• Clean and process the data.
• Develop accessible and informative core layer of data.
• Optimize and fine-tune data streams.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• 5/7 working days;
• 09.00 a.m.- 06.00 p.m. working hours (including 1 hour for lunch);
