Hi! We're Smartsourcing, and we're looking for an Admin Support Associate to support our healthcare administration team. In this role, you'll process and submit insurance claims for overseas medical and health insurance beneficiaries, validate claim information, and manage high-volume administrative tasks using internal clinic and patient-record systems—helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient claims processing every step of the way.

Role Overview

The Admin Support Associate role involves working within a structured, SOP-driven environment where accuracy is prioritized over volume, and where attention to detail directly affects claim acceptance and beneficiary outcomes. The position supports efficient claims operations by following documented standards, handling common edge cases independently, and escalating exceptions appropriately. The role collaborates closely with the Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Claims Submission and Processing

  • Submit insurance claims for overseas medical/health insurance beneficiaries accurately and within agreed processing timelines.
  • Validate beneficiary, treatment, and coverage details against source records before submission.
  • Identify, action, and resolve common claim edge cases independently, escalating complex exceptions to the Insurance Manager.

Accuracy, Attention to Detail, and Quality

  • Apply documented SOPs consistently across all claims.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in every submission.

Systems and Records Management

  • Use the client's internal clinic tool, patient-record system, and any CRM accurately and in line with data-privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Keep claim and patient records organized, current, and correctly logged.

KPI Tracking and Reporting

  • Track and report claims metrics as required, transitioning to automated tracking where available.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly and proactively with the Insurance Manager on progress, blockers, and exceptions.

Scope Expansion

  • Prepare to take on adjacent tasks such as payments input as performance supports.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Readiness and Digital Enablement 

  • Maintain baseline AI literacy relevant to their role, including the ability to understand, use, and evaluate AI-supported tools for work efficiency and decision-making.
  • Use approved AI tools and digital systems in compliance with company policies, data privacy requirements, information security standards, and client confidentiality obligations.
  • Apply sound judgment in AI use by validating outputs, avoiding overreliance, and ensuring accuracy, fairness, and professional accountability for all work delivered

Qualifications:

  • Equivalent practical experience in insurance claims, healthcare admin, or back-office support
  • Insurance claims experience is strongly preferred — ideally medical/health insurance claims.
  • Demonstrated admin experience with high-volume, detail-intensive work.

Tools:

  • Prior CRM and/or patient-record system experience is required.
  • Comfort with standard productivity tools and data entry is expected.
  • Will be trained on the client's internal tool.
