Hi! We're Smartsourcing, and we're looking for a Client Programme Manager to lead client relationships and ensure the success of key programmes. You'll serve as the front-facing representative of the business—building trust, coordinating with internal teams, and driving operational excellence across all engagements—helping deliver consistent results and exceptional client experiences.

About the Role

This role blends client partnership, executive support, and operational execution, acting as a trusted extension of leadership in client interactions. The position requires high agency, executive presence, and the ability to independently manage client needs, priorities, and programme outcomes. The role is critical in ensuring client trust, delivery excellence, and proactive problem-solving, particularly through structured interventions such as 90-day success planning and ongoing engagement management.



Key Responsibilities

A. Client Relationship Management & Executive Engagement

  • Act as primary client contact, demonstrate executive presence and confidence when engaging with senior stakeholders, including representing the business in leadership's absence
  • Join and lead client meetings and executive sessions
  • Drive meeting outcomes by clarifying decisions, actions, and next steps during client discussions
  • Build rapport and trust with clients through proactive engagement
  • Actively engage clients through appropriate channels to drive alignment and maintain strong client momentum

B. Trust-Building & Stakeholder Influence

  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Build credibility through consistent delivery and communication
  • Influence client outcomes through insight and engagement
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in client interactions, particularly in ambiguous or high-stakes situations
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks or gaps before they impact delivery or stakeholder confidence

C. Programme Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Manage and prioritize multiple client engagements concurrently across competing timelines
  • Ensure precision in communication, documentation, and coordination
  • Execute tasks with high attention to detail
  • Exercise judgment in progressing workstreams without over-reliance on leadership direction

D. 90-Day Intervention & Programme Support

  • Support mid-cycle programme interventions (90-day plans)
  • Assist in tracking OKRs and programme outcomes
  • Take ownership of ambiguous situations and/or risks by defining next steps and driving progress

E. Proactive Problem Solving & High Agency Execution

  • Take initiative in identifying and solving client and operational challenges
  • Act independently without waiting for direction
  • Create structure where processes are undefined

F. Communication & Coordination

  • Manage appropriate communication channels including phone, email and written communication
  • Ensure clarity and precision in all written and verbal communication
  • Adjust communication approach when engaging senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity, brevity, and confidence

G. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Readiness and Digital Enablement

  • Maintain baseline AI literacy relevant to their role, including the ability to understand, use, and evaluate AI-supported tools for work efficiency and decision-making.
  • Use approved AI tools and digital systems in compliance with company policies, data privacy requirements,
    information security standards, and client confidentiality obligations.
  • Apply sound judgment in AI use by validating outputs, avoiding overreliance, and ensuring accuracy, fairness, and professional accountability for all work delivered.
  • Participate in required AI readiness trainings, upskilling programs, and continuous improvement initiatives as
    part of Smartsourcing's innovation and learning culture.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement through automation, digitization, and
    responsible AI integration within their scope of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in client-facing, operations, EA, or account management roles
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver under pressure
  • Experience analyzing sales data and performance metrics
  • Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
