About the job Marketing Operations Manager
Job Description:
We're growing quickly, and we need someone to build the engine that keeps up with us.
We are excited to be recruiting for a Marketing Operations Manager who brings structure, pace and consistency to our marketing activity, and who takes genuine ownership of how the function works – this will be a hands-on role.
You won't be our chief content creator we've got that covered. Your job is making sure our content, campaigns, events, podcast and CRM work together as one properly functioning engine. If you get a kick out of turning good intentions into things that actually ship, this is for you.
This will be a highly collaborative role working across leadership, sales and delivery as well as reporting directly into the CEO. You will be someone who is comfortable rolling your sleeves up to get things done.
What you'll own
Marketing operations — Day-to-day ownership of the function: the structure, processes and rhythm that let us execute consistently and at pace. Keep plans moving, coordinate activity across the business, and make sure good ideas turn into action.
Campaigns — Turn our priorities and content into coordinated campaigns across the right channels. You own the operational detail: timelines, assets, audiences, systems, follow-up and measurement.
The Company Doctor podcast — Take full ownership of the podcast's operation and delivery. Coordinate guests and scheduling, keep production on track, brief the hosts, and make each episode earn its keep commercially — clips, social assets, email, landing pages, follow-up. It's one of our strongest brand assets. Make it work harder.
Events — Plan and deliver brilliant roundtables, client events, webinars and industry events. Manage the detail beforehand, get stuck in on the day, and make sure the follow-up actually happens.
HubSpot — Be our internal owner. CRM data and segmentation, workflows and automation, campaigns, landing pages, email journeys, lead nurturing, dashboards and reporting and better alignment between marketing and sales.
Marketing materials — Use Canva, PowerPoint and similar tools to produce polished, on-brand presentations, event materials and social assets quickly, without everything needing to go through a designer.
Insight and accountability — Give the team clear visibility on what's working: performance, engagement, pipeline contribution, and where we should be doing more.
Who we're looking for
Your current title might be Marketing Manager, Marketing Operations Manager, CRM Marketing Manager, or you could be an experienced Marketing Executive ready for more ownership. How you operate matters more than your job title.
You'll bring:
· Strong, hands-on HubSpot experience — a genuine requirement, not a nice-to-have
· Broad B2B marketing experience and a feel for how the pieces fit together
· Excellent marketing operations and project management skills
· Experience running campaigns from idea through to execution and measurement
· Experience organising and supporting events
· Strong Canva and PowerPoint skills and a good eye for presentation
· Confidence with data, reporting and marketing metrics
· Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication
The person
Proactive - you spot what needs doing and get on with it.
Operationally minded - you like good systems, clean data, and things happening when they're supposed to.
Hands on - as comfortable building a workflow as debating priorities with the leadership team.
Commercial - you know marketing exists to contribute to growth.
Adaptable - growing companies change fast, and you'll enjoy the pace and the occasional curveball.
Up for a challenge - there's a real opportunity to shape how marketing works here and build something that gets sharper as we grow.
Working with us
Five days a week, but we're flexible on how those days are structured. School hours working could absolutely work for the right person. We care far more about finding someone who takes ownership and delivers, rather than about a traditional 9 to 5.
You'll join at an exciting stage of growth, with real influence over how we market ourselves and how this function develops.
If you like making things happen, working with good people, and turning marketing plans into a well-oiled machine — we'd love to hear from you.
