We are looking for a hands-on Technical Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team across mechatronics, mechanical, electronics, firmware, and electrical disciplines. This role is not just about managing from a distance, youll be actively involved in guiding technical work, solving challenges, and ensuring project managers and clients have the support they need to deliver successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, hands-on technical leadership across engineering disciplines (mechatronics, mechanical, electronics, firmware, and electrical).
  • Oversee and contribute to custom hardware development, production fabrication, and AV systems integration.
  • Collaborate on application development and interactive content delivery, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and software.
  • Work closely with project managers and clients, serving as the go-to technical expert throughout project delivery.
  • Support the sales and project teams by offering technical perspectives in client meetings, proposals, and presentations.
  • Translate complex engineering challenges into practical solutions that keep projects on track.
  • Mentor and guide engineers and technicians to raise technical standards across the team.
  • Drive innovation by integrating new tools, technologies, and processes into workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role with a track record of being actively engaged in engineering delivery (not just oversight).
  • Strong background in custom hardware solutions, AV systems, and production-level fabrication.
  • Experience collaborating on application development and interactive/immersive content.
  • Proven ability to support project managers and work directly with clients in a technical capacity.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
