This role is responsible for acquiring new clients for outsourced payroll and HR operations services. The focus is on building strong relationships with business owners, founders, and decision makers, understanding their payroll and compliance needs, and converting opportunities into long term client partnerships.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and prospect potential clients including SMEs, startups, and international companies operating or entering the UAE.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for payroll outsourcing and HR operations services.
- Research target accounts to understand business size, payroll complexity, and compliance exposure.
- Leverage networking, referrals, digital outreach, and events to generate qualified leads.
Client Engagement & Needs Discovery
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client payroll structures, employee volumes, pay elements, and compliance requirements.
- Clearly explain outsourced payroll services, WPS compliance, end of service benefits, and statutory obligations in simple, business friendly language.
- Position payroll as a risk management and trust building function, not just an administrative task.
- Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities across HR operations and advisory services.
Sales & Proposal Management
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, pricing structures, and service scopes aligned to client needs.
- Coordinate with payroll and HR operations teams to ensure accurate scoping, timelines, and handover.
- Manage negotiations, address objections, and close deals in line with company targets.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation by coordinating onboarding and documentation.
Relationship Management & Retention Support
- Act as the commercial point of contact during early stages of the client relationship.
- Maintain regular follow ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities.
- Support renewals, service expansions, and referrals through proactive relationship management.
- Gather client feedback to improve service positioning and offerings.
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay informed on UAE labour law, WPS requirements, payroll compliance risks, and market trends.
- Continuously refine sales messaging based on regulatory updates and client pain points.
- Provide market insights to leadership on pricing, competitor offerings, and client demand.
Qualification & Experience required
- Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Experience selling payroll, HR outsourcing, accounting, or compliance services in the UAE is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with UAE SME and international business landscape.
- Exposure to UAE and GCC pension processing (including GPSSA) is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.
