Our client is Dubai's leading experiential, technology-led company, seamlessly merging creativity with advanced technology to deliver immersive and interactive experiences.

Founded in 2018, they specialise in custom-built interactive technologies and ready-to-deploy solutions, including holograms, immersive displays, interactive projection, AR/VR/MR, gamified installations, interactive applications, and advanced digital environments.

They are now seeking a Head of Innovation to lead their technical vision and future-facing innovation strategy.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a senior technologist who thrives at the intersection of engineering, creativity, and commercial delivery.


Role Overview

As Head of Innovation, you will define and execute the company's innovation roadmap, lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, and drive the development of cutting-edge interactive and immersive systems. Working closely with the CEO, you will help transform emerging technologies into scalable, commercially viable solutions and proprietary platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the companys innovation and technology strategy in line with business goals
  • Research, evaluate, and introduce emerging technologies relevant to immersive experiences and interactive systems
  • Lead the design and development of proprietary tools, systems, and future IP
  • Provide senior technical leadership across complex projects from concept to deployment
  • Mentor and manage multidisciplinary teams (mechatronics, mechanical, electronics, firmware, electrical)
  • Support project managers during pre-sales, design, development, and execution phases
  • Translate creative concepts into robust, scalable, real-world technical solutions
  • Identify and build partnerships with technology providers, startups, and global partners
  • Represent the company in technical discussions, industry events, and innovation forums
  • Establish technical standards, best practices, and scalable frameworks across projects


Key Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in a senior technical or innovation leadership role
  • Proven experience delivering complex, technology-led systems from concept to deployment
  • Strong understanding of interactive technologies, mechatronics, electronics, embedded systems, and prototyping workflows
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Curious, forward-thinking, and comfortable working in fast-paced, exploratory environments
