About the job Service Engineer - Material Handling Equipment
Our client is a market leader in the weighing scales industry, operational since 1918 in India, further to which they have established themselves within the Middle East region and headquartered in Dubai.
As part of their Material Handling division, they are currently hiring for a Service Engineer, to provide service support, preventive maintenance, and repair solutions for the full range of Manual, Semi-Electric and Fully Electric Material Handling Equipment (MHE) offered by them.
The role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective service.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of Manual, Semi-Electric and Fully Electric Material Handling Equipment
- Address both mechanical and electrical faults independently
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule
- Install and commission new equipment at customer sites
- Offer product demonstrations and basic operational training to clients
- Provide post-installation support routine service and AMC service visits
- Maintain proper service documentation and daily reporting
- Manage spares and tools required for servicing
- Escalate complex issues to the technical head where required
- Maintain safety standards during fieldwork and site visits
- Foster professional relationships with clients and ensure timely communication

- Electric Pallet Trucks
- Manual Stackers
- Semi-Electric Stackers
- Fully Electric Stackers
- Scissor Lifts
- Hydraulic Lifting Tables
- Drum Handling Equipment
- Platform Trolleys
- Forklifts (if applicable)
- Dock Levelers
- Other custom lifting and shifting solutions
Qualification and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum 3 year of hands-on service experience in the Material Handling Equipment domain in UAE
- Sound knowledge of electromechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies
- Should be capable of working independently and under pressure
- Must possess a valid UAE Driving License
