Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveying Support professional to assist across RFQs,estimation, procurement, documentation, and authority submissions.

This role is ideal for Civil Engineering graduates, who are looking to build hands-on experience in estimation, QS support, procurement coordination, and administrative operations within a professional services environment.


Location: Mussafah, Abu Dhabi

Employment Type: Full-Time (Office-based)

Key Responsibilities

1. RFQ, Commercial & Estimation Support

  • Maintain and update RFQ trackers (RFQ number, client, due date, status).
  • Extract RFQ documents and organize structured digital folders.
  • Monitor RFQ deadlines and send reminders prior to submission.
  • Send RFQs to OEMs and suppliers using approved templates.
  • Follow up with suppliers for:

o Quotations

o Datasheets

o Lead times

o Certificates (CoC, COO)

  • Prepare draft cost breakdowns (no pricing or margin authority).
  • Assist in preparing comparative statements for suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Track delivery dates and pending technical/commercial documents.

2. Quantity Surveying & Estimation Assistance

  • Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and BOQs from drawings.
  • Support cost estimation and rate analysis under supervision.
  • Maintain records for variations and measurements.
  • Assist in preparing basic cost and procurement tracking reports.

3. Procurement Assistance

  • Assist in sourcing materials and subcontractors.
  • Prepare material submittals, datasheets, and approval documentation.
  • Follow up with suppliers for quotations and delivery schedules.
  • Track purchase orders and delivery status.

4. Municipality & Authority System Handling

  • Assist with submissions on Abu Dhabi Municipality and other authority portals.
  • Upload drawings and documents as per authority requirements.
  • Track authority comments, resubmissions, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to close authority comments.

5. Documentation, Office & Coordination Support

  • Maintain proper filing of:

o Drawings

o BOQs

o Authority approvals

o Correspondence

  • Support site and project teams with documentation requirements.
  • Maintain and organize company legal and statutory documents.
  • Prepare, verify, scan, and file:

o Sales & Purchase Orders

o Invoices

  • Handle finance-related documentation and typing support.
  • Attend and manage incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, and office asset records.

6. HR & PRO Coordination Support

  • Assist with employee documentation related to:
  • o Visa renewals

o Insurance

o Leave tracking

  • Coordinate documentation for HR and PRO-related activities.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 1–3 years UAE experience preferred.
  • (Fresh graduates with internship or trainee experience may also apply.)
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings and BOQs.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with municipality and authority portals is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Good communication skills (email & phone).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Organized, dependable, and professional.
