Role Overview

The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end store and inventory operations, ensuring accurate material handling, stock control, system compliance, and safe warehouse practices. The role plays a critical part in supporting production and supply chain efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities
Material & Inventory Management
  • Receive, inspect, and issue raw materials, packing materials, consumables, and finished goods
  • Conduct physical verification to ensure quality and quantity compliance
  • Maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels
  • Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual stock audits and reconciliations

Documentation & Systems

  • Prepare and maintain GRNs, Material Issue Slips, Stock Transfer Notes, and related documentation
  • Maintain bin cards, stock registers, and MIS reports
  • Operate SAP / ERP systems for stock control, tracking, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with ISO / GMP / FMCG documentation standards and audit requirements
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Quality, Accounts, and Logistics teams
  • Liaise with vendors and transporters to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of materials
Housekeeping, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organized, and well-maintaine

  • Implement proper storage practices for hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Ensure compliance with fire, safety, and HSE regulations

Reporting
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock, consumption, and variance reports
  • Provide accurate inventory data to support production planning and audits

Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
  • Proven experience in store / warehouse management, preferably within manufacturing, construction chemicals, FMCG, or industrial environments
  • Hands-on experience with SAP / ERP systems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory reporting
