Recruiting Privacy Notice
At social.plus, we're committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice is designed to describe to you the basis for the personal data we collect from you, or that is provided by you as part of our recruitment process.
First of all, we use Manatal, a web-based hiring platform, to assist in our recruiting process. As part of that process, Manatal will be processing the personal information you've shared in accordance with social.plus instructions.
When you apply for a job posted by us, the information we collect / you provide is used to determine whether or not you're a good fit for current and future roles at our company. To process your job application, we will collect the following information including your name, email, address and telephone number, gender, your career history, qualifications, country of residence, language skills and any other personal information you include in your interactions with social.plus (e.g. interview video recordings, interview feedback notes, assessments completed during the recruitment process).
To assist in the initial screening of CVs and applications, we use Claude, an AI tool developed by Anthropic. Your application data - including career history, qualifications, and skills - may be processed by this system to support our recruitment team's assessment of your suitability for a role. No solely automated decision-making takes place: all AI outputs are reviewed by a member of our team before any hiring decision is made.
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests in efficiently identifying suitable candidates (EU/UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Your data may be processed by Anthropic on servers outside your country of residence; appropriate safeguards are in place governing such transfers in accordance with applicable law.
You have the right to request a human-only review of your application, to obtain information about how AI screening may have influenced any decision, and to contest any outcome. To exercise any of these rights, contact legal@social.plus.
We may also ask for additional information to assist us with our recruitment process and in the event you are offered a job, an example would be your date of birth, your ID, right-to-work documents, references from former employers etc.
We'll hold on to your data for up to 24 months and if it turns out we'd like to keep it around longer, we'll reach out to you for consent first.
Lastly, if if at any point you'd like us to remove the information we've collected or share it with you, just let us know via legal@social.plus
