Socium Security is looking for high-energy, experienced Sales Account Executives who have experience selling cybersecurity services and products. These individuals will be important in our continued expansion and increased client and resell partnerships. The Account Executive's job will be to work with Socium Security's solutions architects to help CISOs acquire the appropriate cyber security products and services - professional and managed. The ideal account executives will embrace an entrepreneurial startup atmosphere and focus on selling Socium Security’s standard services and products. Candidates will be enthusiastic about selling and advancing breakthrough solutions and technology to CISOs, CFOs, CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and other members of executive teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead opportunities through a consultative sales approach, working closely with Socium Security's Solutions Architects and Senior Consultants to ensure customer needs are addressed and have a proper solution.
  • Increase revenue by strategically positioning and selling cybersecurity technologies and services.
  • Execute a collaboratively created business plan endorsed by the Socium Security team.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive, team-oriented culture by taking an active role in it.
  • Report on sales performance and pipeline on a weekly basis.
  • Manage and control the sales process from start to finish, including contract signing.
  • Blow the doors off quarterly sales bookings, revenue, and gross margin targets.
  • Maintain an awareness of the latest information security news, strategies, and trends by learning new frameworks and emerging technology.
  • Organize and manage many opportunities in a systematic and disciplined manner within the CRM and ERP.
  • Establish and maintain expectations with senior stakeholders and teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years sales experience in information security services or technology sales
  • Experience selling to information security leaders
  • Experience positioning and selling security solutions including security services, managed services, penetration testing, SOC, cloud security, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, 800-53, CMMC, HITRUST, ISO 27000, PCI, HIPAA
  • Strongly motivated and skilled at exceeding sales bookings targets when compared to plan
  • Demonstrate strong communication and personal interaction skills with partners, executives, and customers.
