We are seeking two experienced Business Intelligence Specialists to deliver a production‑ready Qlik Cloud environment.

This engagement will include:

  • Migration of Qlik Sense Apps from on-premise infrastructure to Qlik Cloud
  • Implementation of a governance framework
  • Replacement of legacy static reporting capability currently delivered via Qlik nPrinting
  • Transfer of capability to NIAA business‑as‑usual support

Key duties and responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivery of the following:

Application migration

  • Migration and enhancement of existing data models
  • Migration of in-scope Qlik applications from on-premise to Qlik Cloud
  • Validation of functionality, performance and data integrity

Platform capability replacement

  • Replacement of in-scope Qlik nPrinting reports with equivalent Qlik Cloud reporting solutions
  • Configuration of equivalent GeoAnalytics functionality within Qlik Cloud

Governance model implementation

  • Define and implement change and release management processes
  • Implementation of the agreed role-based access control model
  • Configuration of audit and monitoring capabilities

Standards and documentation

  • Development standards and naming conventions
  • Data model and dashboard design standards
  • Administration runbooks and support documentation

Training and transition

  • User training materials and sessions
  • Administrator training materials and handover sessions
  • Knowledge transfer and supporting documentation to enable transition to BAU implementation and business ownership

Criteria

The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters.

Essential criteria

  • 1.Strong track record developing interactive Qlik dashboards and reports.
  • 2.Demonstrated experience designing and implementing physical data models in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 3.Highly developed data communication skills, including the ability to explain data concepts to audiences of varying data literacy levels.
  • 4.Understanding of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, the sensitivities associated with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander data, and the ability to communicate and manage such data in a respectful, appropriate, and culturally informed manner.
