Key duties and responsibilities

Job Specific role description:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Departments technical solutions and serve as a technical contact for the operational management, design uplift, and implementation of Secure Unified Communications (UC) capabilities, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Maintain expertise in current & emerging collaboration technologies, including implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Investigate and resolve complex and recurring issues in coordination with the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
  • Develop, maintain, and implement secure collaboration solutions that align with the Departments strategic goals.
  • Author, review, maintain and contribute to Solution Designs, Standard Operating Procedures, As-Built-As-Configured and other required documentation artefacts.
  • Conduct and support Validation and Verification (V&V) activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendor/supplier specialists to provide solutions and optimise designs to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Ability to rapidly build, automate and deliver proof of concept systems to support analysis, testing, accreditation and development activities.
