The Opportunity
As the Transmission Line Project Engineering Manager, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across disciplines

  • Coordinate directly with clients on project changes in partnership with the Project Manager

  • Review and coordinate engineering work, serving as engineer of record when required

  • Build strong working relationships with project leadership, design teams, and support staff

  • Translate client interests into actionable strategies for project delivery

  • Support business development and pursuit activities

  • Travel occasionally for site visits, design reviews, and client meetings

  • Mentor and guide team members while ensuring compliance with quality programs and industry standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing EPC or design services overhead transmission line projects for U.S. investor-owned utilities

  • 8+ years of experience in high-voltage overhead transmission line design, including PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading, foundation design, and full project lifecycle

  • Strong communication skills with an interest in client engagement and relationship building

  • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, design guides, and applicable standards

  • Experience coordinating interdisciplinary project elements: procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, real estate/land acquisition, and construction support

  • Familiarity with proposal development and engineering estimates

  • P.E. license highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program

  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience

  • Ability to meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR search, as applicable)

Certifications
Professional registration/licensure required in home office country, or active pursuit of such registration. Additional licenses may be required depending on assignment location. Exceptions may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
