Qualifications:
- Two to four years of experience in SPID/S3D process/piping design, either on-site or in a design office, is required, and having worked in the pharma, biotech or oil & gas industry is essential.
- SPID piping designer – this is a six-month assignment – this will not convert. The manager updated this to 'The position could be temp to perm, so yes, longer than 6 months.'
- Must be in the office 2 days per week from 8 am to 3 pm. The other 3 days can be remote. Days are based on project needs, but there is some flexibility.
- The company is not willing to sponsor a VISA candidate for this role.
- No per diem for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of lists and progressing reports for the piping project lead directly from SPID/S3D as required.
- Experience in the SPID/S3D process/piping design, either on-site or in a design office, is required, and having worked in the pharma, biotech or oil & gas industry is essential.
- Develop SPID/S3D models and data software for process and mechanical systems and modify existing designs or drawings to develop or improve them.
- Ability to draft, design and redline P&IDs/AF&IDs for all data within the SPID software and correlate to the S3D software.
- Generate reports from SPID/S3D software.
- Intergraph software knowledge background
- Performs routine tasks under close supervision using well-defined standards and procedures.
- Reports administratively to the department manager and functionally as determined by the org chart on assigned projects.
