Position Overview:
We are seeking a Manager of Engineering to oversee and develop regional transmission line engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, cost-effective engineering services. This leadership role also contributes to business development and company initiatives, including defining regional strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams to achieve technical and professional excellence.

  • Support and drive business development efforts to grow the regional business.

  • Ensure teams uphold company values, brand standards, and ethical practices.

  • Create a work environment that encourages team growth, engagement, and development.

  • Oversee project execution, including engineering scope, change orders, schedules, and budgets.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and responsiveness to client needs.

  • Supervise transmission line design activities and enforce quality assurance and control measures.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, while cultivating new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (required).

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required).

  • 15+ years of relevant engineering experience in consulting or electric utility environments (required).

  • Project management experience preferred, with knowledge of scope, schedule, and budget management.

  • Strong understanding of engineering and design evaluation practices.

  • Ability to develop and implement improved processes, methods, or tools for the transmission line team.

  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

  • Collaborative mindset for working with teams and clients.

  • Willingness to share knowledge and mentor others.

  • Ability to identify and apply relevant metrics to drive business and project performance.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

  • Creative and innovative approach to engineering solutions.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy.
