Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage budget, schedule, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines for assigned projects

Actively manage project changes directly with the client in coordination with the Project Manager

Review lower-level engineering work or assignments; coordinate multi-discipline activities and may serve as engineer of record for assigned projects

Build effective working relationships with project leadership, design teams, and support staff

Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns in project execution

Provide support to business development and pursuit activities

Participate in occasional travel for site visits, design reviews, and client meetings

Consistently apply knowledge and comply with established quality programs

Ensure client and industry standards are maintained on assigned projects

Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to team members
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services overhead transmission line projects for investor-owned utilities in the United States
-
11 years of experience in design of high-voltage overhead transmission lines with strong understanding of PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading design, foundation design, and the overall project lifecycle

Strong communication skills and interest in developing client relationships

Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards

Working knowledge of interdisciplinary project coordination: procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, real estate and land acquisition, and construction support

Familiarity with proposal development and preparation of engineering estimates

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license highly preferred
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program (domestic or international)

Minimum of 11 years related work experience

Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Certifications

Most positions require professional registration or licensure in the designated home office country, or active pursuit of such registration. Additional licensure may be needed when practicing or assigned in another country. Exceptions may be considered by division management on a case-by-case basis.
