Staff Environmental Air Engineer
The Staff Environmental Air Engineer will contribute to a broad range of air quality and permitting projects within a dynamic environmental services practice, supporting industrial clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare air permit applications for large-scale projects, including Title V permits.

Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal air quality regulations.

Apply technical expertise across various complex industrial processes; experience in the refining industry is a plus.

Monitor and interpret changes in air permitting regulations, emission calculation methodologies, and compliance standards.

Maintain regular communication with clients, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders; interest in international project work is welcomed.

Ability to contribute to business development by leveraging client relationships is preferred.

Support marketing efforts and participate in occasional travel.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one year of required experience.

Previous experience in consulting is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external professionals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Must have a valid drivers license and meet applicable company driving standards.
